Amateur Radio Special Event

October 6, 2024 – October 12, 2024

Fire Prevention week Amateur Radio Special Event takes place every year during Fire Prevention Week. Amateur radio operators in both the United States and Canada operate their HF radios and make contacts all over the world and during that contact they offer short fire safety tips to everyone they make a contact with.

This year Retired Lieutenant Tom Medeiros – K1NDU from the Dighton Fire Department and the Bristol County Repeater Association has teamed up with Station Owner N1F to be part of this special event.

N1F schedule for BCRA club members to help and participate.

October 6, 2024, Dighton Station #2 132 Chase St N Dighton 2pm to 6pm

October 7, 2024, BCRA Meeting 5pm to 9pm

October 12, 2024, Swansea Fire Station #4 1680 GAR Highway10am to 4pm
